An article is indicated as plagiarism if the article takes the work of another author without permission, credit or acknowledgement. Indications that include plagiarism are as follows:
Scientific English will investigate all articles and will take action against articles that indicate plagiarism or self-plagiarism. Articles with indications of plagiarism will be rejected immediately. Scientific English uses COPE guidelines to investigate suspected plagiarism.
Scientific English uses the Turnitin service to check plagiarism suspects with a similarity index indicator. The Editorial Board sets a maximum similarity index of 15% for all articles to be published in the Scientific English.
